OLPC with Ubuntu

What’s the beef with Sugar? (he asks, still waiting for his XOXO to be shipped)
So far all the critiques I’ve read have been from non-educators, although I haven’t had time to look far either.
Eh, not a fan. As much as it’s supposed to be culturally-neutral, I find it clunky and difficult to navigate instead , and more importantly, so do the three first grader I’ve had play with it. It feels more like someone’s really good comp sci project so far than an actual OS …
